Point-to-point connections are set up to wirelessly establish a WiFi network directly between two points, where (depending on the transmission frequency) no permit or license is required. The wireless bridge product lines from Cambium Networks, MikroTik, or Ubiquiti can provide a solution for this. However, it is always important to ask the following questions when setting up a point-to-point connection: Is there a clear line of sight? What distance do I need to cover, and what throughput do I want to achieve?
